Cotswolds by Train

Rail can work well for selected Cotswold visits, but onward taxis, buses and rural road connections need checking for the specific destination.

Useful stations

Moreton-in-Marsh, Charlbury, Kingham, Banbury and Oxford Parkway are relevant rail planning points for the north Cotswolds and nearby Oxfordshire routes.

Use National Rail for live departures, station facilities and disruption information. Do not rely on static frequency or journey-time claims.

Onward travel

Many villages and attractions require a taxi, lift or onward bus from the station. Pre-booking may be necessary, especially late in the day or outside peak visitor periods.

[CONFIRM: onward taxi availability, route distance and typical transfer time for each destination].
